Sinopse: A série, baseada em personagens da DC Comics, foi desenvolvida para a TV por Alfred Gough & Miles Millar (de Spider-Man, filmes Shanghai Noon, The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor e o produtor executivo Kelly Souders (Stuck) & Brian Peterson (But I’m a Cheerleader), Todd Slavkin & Darren Swimmer (ambos de Control, Natural Selection), Mike Tollin, Brian Robbins e Joe Davola (participações da produção de One Tree Hill, The Bronx Is Burning, Norbit, Wild Hogs). Superman foi criado por Jerry Siegel e Joe Shuster.
